PRODUCT DESCRIPTION :
Natrol's Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a
powerful antioxidant that helps protect the body from oxidative damage related to aging and
exercise. ALA is capable of regenerating several other antioxidants to their active states,
including vitamin C, vitamin E, glutathione, and coenzyme Q-10. ALA also has several potential
benefits for people with diabetes. It enhances glucose uptake in type 2 (non-insulin-dependent)
diabetes, inhibits glycosylation (the abnormal attachment of sugar to protein), and has been
used to improve diabetic nerve damage and reduce associated pain. Most studies have used
intravenous alpha lipoic acid, but oral supplementation has nonetheless proved partially helpful
in treating at least one form of diabetic neuropathy (using 800 mg per day). Preliminary
evidence also indicates that 150 mg of alpha lipoic acid, taken daily for one month, improves
visual function in people with glaucoma. This product uses no yeast, wheat, corn, milk, egg,
soy, glutens, artificial colors or flavors, added sugar, starch, or preservatives.

DIRECTIONS :
Take one capsule daily with a meal.
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID MISSED DOSE & OVERDOSE :
Alpha Lipoic Acid Missed Dose :
Take the missed dose as soon as you
remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and
take only the next regularly scheduled dose. Keep doses at least 12 hours apart.
Do not take a double dose of this supplement.
Alpha Lipoic Acid Overdose :
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room.
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID STORAGE :
Keep this and any supplement in a safe place where children cannot
reach it. It may be harmful to children. Do not remove tablets from the packaging until you are
ready to use them. Do not store the tablets in any other container. Store your medicine away
from heat and light. Do not store at temperatures above 86°F (30°C), or below 36°F (2°C).
